Biography

A joyful noise is the sound experienced by those witnessing the anointed directing of Bro. Kevin B. Hall, Jr., the son of Pastor Kevin B. Hall of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Richmond, California.

Bro. Kevin, Jr., as he is so affectionately known at St. John, is a humble and seriously committed Director of Music, who has taken the various 100+ choir members to a higher level of spirituality under his leadership. Kevin draws on his experience as a member of numerous community choirs, including GMWA Northern California Chapter under the direction of Mrs. Helen Stephens.

This multi-talented young man already has a repertoire, not only as a singer/director, but also as a producer for the mega Mother’s Day Concert featuring the Grammy nominated recording artist Beverly Crawford and Webmaster, designing various advertising websites and video clips for clients throughout the Bay Area. Kevin is employed as an Administrative Assistant at Alumni Association on the campus of the University of California at Berkeley.

Kevin Hall, Jr. is the devoted and loving husband of Shana Hall and the doting father of 3 year old Kalayah and 1 year old Kaelyn. Kevin is most happy when his arms are raised and voices are lifted unto God with praise! “I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord” (Psalm 122:1).
